Now we are at the turning of the corner moving through major transformation. You have a lot that you want to do. You are called to do new things. To do that knowing that more funds might be available would be just quite wonderful.
I missed most of the Sunday morning Eucharist at Synod this morning as I celebrated the 8:00 service in my on parish church with the faithful few who braved the snow to gather this morning. But, I received great notes from my scribe at the Synod service so here is an account of what was apparently a wonderful sermon.

Last night I attended the first session of the 94th Synod of The Diocese of BC. There is no wireless internet where we are meeting so live blogging is not an option. But I know there are just throngs of people out there dying to know what happens at an Anglican Synod, so I will do the best I can to put up what notes I can manage to cobble together.
From June 27-30 I was away in Parksville at a Diocesan Clergy Conference. Our sessions were led by Alan and Eleanor Kreider.
