Tomorrow is “Shrove” Tuesday, the day before the beginning of Lent.
It is probably not at the top of the list of most peoples’ popular celebrations. Even the name sounds archaic and odd. But “Shrove Tuesday” will be observed by millions of Christians today in a variety of ways, all over the world.
Today is Shrove Tuesday. It is the day before the beginning of the Christian season known as Lent. The day Shrove Tuesday and the season of Lent, are connected to the beleaguered Christian doctrines of “sin” and “forgiveness.”
