So, the conversation continues.

Today I received a “ping back” (I don’t really know what that is) on one of my Terrence Malick posts — https://inaspaciousplace.wordpress.com/2011/06/27/a-religion-too-small-for-terrence-malick/#more-3879

It turns out the person who made this link in the comments section of my post, lives in Mumbai, India. He blogs about movies at: http://talkingtalkies.com/

At the bottom of his “Tree of Life” review Prakash Jashnani recommends “In A Spacious Place” and “The Schleicher Spin” by D.H. Schleicher from the South Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia: http://theschleicherspin.com/2011/06/11/memory-and-magic-in-terrence-malicks-the-tree-of-life/.

At the end of his “Tree of Life” post, Schleicher includes a list of important articles about the movie. If you have not yet been converted to the wonders of Terrence Malick’s “Tree of Life,” don’t just take my word for it, read the articles in Schleicher’s list. These are important works about an important film. If after reading these thoughts on the film, you still find yourself ambivalent about the movie, well at least you will know you have given it a good chance.
